Whizzkidz Academy Primary School
Our pre-schoolers & existing parents of the school are afforded the opportunity to continue with our teaching programme into Grade 1 to Grade 7. We also welcome new learners to join our exciting and profound learning environment.
For each respective grade, we have secured the services of qualified and experienced B/ed Teachers that cater for small structured classes of not more than 15 learners.
We have a curriculum service provider called IMPAQ, assisting our school with a complete and advanced CAPS aligned programme. This includes all workbooks, portfolios, tests, examinations and reports from Grade 1 to 7.
Our students are not only graded and assessed by our school rather by the IMPAQ service provider, thus ensuring that they receive the best necessary care and attention academically. Part of our curriculum also includes a compulsory physical education class, computer coding lessons as well as speech and drama classes.

In an effort to offer learners a balanced education, Whizzkidz Academy offers a variety of extracurricular activities with a competitive element such as swimming, soccer, cricket, basketball, computer coding, robotics, karate and drama.

Whizzkidz Academy caters for freshly prepared delicious meals by our very own in-house chef of 17 years. These appetizing, healthy meals are delivered personally to our learners.

Apart from this, our facilities include a cleaned private bathroom for each grade, a fully stocked novelty tuck shop, remarkable play areas including our very own WII jump play land.

Undoubtedly, all of our teachers are qualified, experienced and first aid trained. We have 24 hour armed response and paramedics on call. CCTV cameras with two ways audio in all classes and surrounding premises enables staff to ensure learners are safe in a bully free zone.

Curriculum & Syllabus
IMPAQ CAPS Curriculum & Syllabus
Our syllabus is geared to deliver academic excellence and follows the national CAPS curriculum from the IMPAQ service provider supplemented by a unique whole child development support. Our learner’s materials are designed and published by IMPAQ which are built on an established learner centred curriculum that is used by over 20 000 learners across the country and recognised by the Department of Education.
It is important that in THE FORMATIVE YEARS OF A CHILD`S EDUCATION, they build the necessary foundation skills needed for learning. Our syllabus is a CAPS Aligned Curriculum, comprising of all the necessary areas of learning that will be covered in both the Foundation & intermediate Phase with a higher standard empowering learners to academically perform well in any High School.
IMPAQ
IMPAQ is the Curriculum Service Provider and assists our school with all the necessary textbooks, workbooks, portfolio, assessments and tests & examinations for all our students from Grade 1 to 7.
By securing students with a structured CAPS aligned curriculum, we ensure that all learners receive the correct syllabus recognised by the Department of Education.
Impaq assists our school with the continued monitoring of the Curriculum, progress and challenges experience, hence a higher authority overseeing the teachers and learner’s development.
As we are a registered IMPAQ Primary school, Whizzkidz has been accepted by IMPAQ onto a school package, redirecting the enrolment process with both IMPAQ and our school.
IMPAQ Requirements.
Parents upon enrolment will have to adhere to the following:
Grade 1 (Foundation Phase) IMPAQ curriculum cost for 2022 is R 4500 for the year.
Grade 2 and 3 (Foundation Phase) IMPAQ curriculum cost for 2022 is R 5000 for the year.
Grade 4-6 (Intermediate Phase) IMPAQ curriculum cost for 2022 is R 5500for the year.
Grade 7 (Senior Phase) IMPAQ curriculum cost for 2022 is R 6300 for the year.
This fee is due yearly in advance each specific grade, with an option to all parents over a 3 month period.
The IMPAQ curriculum fee is paid separately to the school when joining our school, with the 1st payment payable in the 1st month of joining our school in order for a deposit to be allocated for the ordering of the learner’s curriculum books. Thereafter the balance can be paid over the next two months completing the IMPAQ fee.
The school fee for services rendered is paid on a monthly basis into the school account separately to the IMPAQ fee, this is worked out according to the time you join the school, concluding all payment of fee to be finalised by November each year. The next two months thereafter will be the balance of the IMPAQ fee for the desired student’s grade together with the monthly school fees due as well.

As customary each year, we advise parents the last quarter of the year by October to settle the amount for the following year’s grade in the IMPAQ curriculum pricing, allowing parents to pay in advance before the New Year, ie from Oct to Dec/Jan the IMPAQ fee.

By doing this, parents are completed with the IMPAQ fee in advance the year before; hence the following academic year’s cost will be only the monthly attached fees to the school as from Jan-Nov.

If a parent joins our school during Jan to March of each academic year, your fee structure will then include the IMPAQ & school fees at once, first 3 months IMPAQ plus school fees thereafter only the school fees until November.

Whizzkidz Academy offers a carefully structured online platform to engage our learners. We have taken the initiative to a create blended learning module to offer uninterrupted learning.

Learners will have access to join our E-Learning Platform when emergency circumstances take place.

This will consist of students having access to lessons via our Google Classroom Portal with pre-recorded content linked to each specific subject and access the class sessions which will be live streamed to learners.

Our Highly interactive Lessons comprises of Text, Visuals, Videos, repetitive learning, Tests, Quizzes’ etc via a structured time table.

Our curriculum is Caps-Aligned, Provided by IMPAQ service provider & Recognised by the Department of Education.
